Hi Guys,
i keep traveling between CST to borivali.the quality of food ,water and services is just very substandard.
The sweets the serve are so low on quality and they are priced highly.
Duplicate eclairs,pan pasand,biscuits all sold at the price of the original..
a lot of people travel and spend a lot of time at the platforms …substandard quality of eatables only adds to our woe…. I hope you understand and take some action…
or else this too will be another flaw in the system.

I had send one Motor bike from NewDelhi to Coimbatore by train vide Way Bill No.0053011 dated 05-01-2011. Since I wanted it to be bought along with me, as directed by the parcel clerk, I took the bike two hours before the actual departure of the train and made the booking. I was given the assurance that it will be carried in the same train in which I was travelling ( PNR No: 211-5071416, Ticket No: 26635636, train No: 12626 Kerala express dated 05-01-2011). On arriving at Coimbatore station I came to know that the said item was not loaded in the same train. Until 10th January I used to enquire every day at the parcel office and used to get the same reply. There after I could make an enquiry only on the 19th and I was informed that the bike was brought to Coimbatore on 11th January. I had to pay a demurrage of Rs.1990/- vide Money Receipt No:940637 dated 19-01-2011 to get the bike released.
I would like the answers to the following Questions of Mine.
1.Having told by the booking clerk and taking all the pain to book my Bike 2 hours before the departure of the train, why the bike was not loaded in the same train?
2. Why the bike once it arrived in Coimbatore Junction even though the address and telephone number was given, no effort was made to contact me?
3. Indian Railways is sole responsible for the late arrival of my Bike and why railways does not take a responsibility of it and instead charge me on a hourly basis?
4. I was told that the bike will be kept only for 6 hours once it arrives and from then it will be charged? On What basis will I know on which train my Bike was coming when actually it was intended to come on the same train I was travelling?
Hope you will answer my queries.

Hi

I have transfered bike to Karnal (Haryana) on saturday (15-jan-2011), via Jhelum express. which is suppose to reach 16-jan at 11 p.m. but after 7 days my bike is not delivered to destination.

Today 24/01/2011 we have start from Borivali 09-49 Churchgate Fast train it was delayed by 45 Min behind from it’s schedule but not a single one take responsibility to announce why Trains are running late? even after we have facility in train for announcement system we all are wonder that even Motorman or Guard has no details for the same we are employed and we need to give correct reason for late in office. So I request you to kindly announce the fact so we can even inform our office a proper reason

I am an engineering student and travel daily from Vasai to Boisar.
I took a Railway pass from Vasai Road(BSR) on 24/01/1991 from window no 5 from the ticket counter at vasai west near the exit to vartak college at 20:14 hrs.A quarterly pass from Vasai to boisar costs 320(with concession).

I paid Rs 350 and the employee(a woman in her 40′s) on the window told me that she does’nt have change(I had seen that the person in front of me had given her change),so i told her to please give me change as i really dont have change and she started arguing with me.
At that time another girl wanted a coupon of rs 40 and had change with her,so i told the employee to give her coupon so that she gets change and then she can return me the money.At this the employee started abusing me telling me that “YOU PEOPLE GET PASSES FOR FREE (as we get concession) AND THAT SHE WILL NOT GIVE ME A PASS UNTIL I MYSELF GET THE CHANGE”.
I really cant understand how long we will have to bear this rude behavior from railway employees when we are paying for all the services they offer us.Somebody please tell me where i can register my complaint officially and get some results.

Hi,

This is regarding a faulty software system running at https://www.irctc.co.in. I am not sure if it was designed by one of Mamata Banerjee’s illiterate relatives. You wont believe the deficiencies present in this website. Earlier itself, this system had the following issues:

1. You try to book a ticket on a day 3 months ahead. you find that no ticket is available. You replan, but always it selects the current date (Why the fuck they have decided with this… either they can leave it blank and always prompt for a date OR they can go with the same date user had chosen earlier)

2. It is not a scalable system. It can probably be used at a time by maximum 1000 users I believe. During festival seasons, when a hell lot of people use the system, it literally dies out (it is probably fucked up and exhausted). You cannot access it for quite a long time.

Recently mamata seems to have given contract to her illiterate Maoist relatives to redo the website. They have done a “Good” work by completely tampering the station selection system.

1. Earlier system had an option to search for a station by entering the first letters (if the pop-up did not work). Since the pop-up is not always guaranteed to work, that option was provided. Now that has completely been removed.

Kindly take steps to restore this system to a useful state.

I have filed TDR for not travelling in my e-ticket(PNR no. 4317862426) dated 22nd May, 2010.

This TDR with Ref. No. ekt2010052301269879 was filed because the train which was scheduled to start on 22/05/2010 night started late on 23/05/2010 morning(which is more than 3 hours).

The ticket fare is Rs. 1350.00/-

As per railways rule, “In case train is running late more than 3 hrs and Passenger has not travelled- full fare will be refunded.”

But i received a payment of Rs. 675.00/- only(which is 50% of the total fare).

if we book for any train ticket from Kakinada (Local travels) ticket is getting confirmed but if we book the ticket before one month and suppose status RAC at that time also not confporming.

Addl. bridge requred at Thane stn. It is very difficult to use bridge during peak hrs.
