totally unjustified and untrusted action of ICICI Bank

Dear Sir,

This is to my utter surprise that Rs. 5,783.79 has been debited from my ICICI SB A/C against Credit Card No : 4477 XXXX XXXX 2010 without my permission.

I would like to bring to your kind attention that I was regularly using the aforesaid Credit Card and subsequently making payment on time. However, on 20th of March 2001 ICICI Credit Card Division have asked me to pay Rs. 75/- against late payment wherein I have raised concern that being a preferred customer how the late fine of Rs. 75/- has been charged to me as due to your collection delay. The same has been raised to customer care with subsequent SR numbers also mails has been sent on the concern. Now after 9 yrs ICICI Bank have debited said amount from my ICICI SB A/c against Rs. 75/-. This is not at all acceptable and this is totally unjustified and untrusted. Hence I have wrote a mail to ICICI Customer Care as well as the MD of ICICI Bank requesting to reverse back the the said amount Rs. 5,783.79 into my ICICI SB A/c immediately or otherwise I will force to take legal action as well as to produce the proof with media stating the ICICI Bank has malaise intention and after 9 yrs have debited the said amount against Rs. 75/-. Hence I would request you to look into the matter immediately and ask the ICICI Bank to debit back Rs. 5,783.79 in my ICICI SB bank A/c.

Being a preferred customer of ICICI Bank and holding this account more then a decade would request you to do the justice and oblige.

HE TOLD I HAVE NOT MADE A SINGLE TRANSACTION IN THIS ACCOUNT HOW IT WILL BE POSSIBLE. HE CHECKED HIS ACCOUNT AND TOLD ME YES MY ACCOUNT IS DEBITED AND AT THE SAME TIME HE REGISTERED HIS COMPLAINT WITH THE ICICI BANK CALL CENTER AND THE COMPLAINT NUMBER THEY REGISTERED WAS SR 156257389.

THE SAME TIME I WENT TO ICICI BANK -CHEM-BUR BRANCH AND MET THE DEPUTY MANAGER SHE TOLD YES YOUR BROTHER ACCOUNT IS DEBITED TELL YOU BROTHER TO MAIL AND THE TRANSACTION HAS BEEN ALREADY DONE AND I NOT ASSURE YOU THAT THE FUNDS WILL COME OR NOT.ON THE NEXT DAY I WENT AGAIN SHE TOLD I HAD FOLLOWED WITH NRI CALL CENTER AND YOU CAN GO TO POLICE OR TAKE LEGAL ACTION.

FURTHER SIR, HOW IT IS POSSIBLE, THE BANK IS DEBITING THE ACCOUNT AND NOT INFORMING THE ACCOUNT HOLDER , AFTER DEBITING AND THE PAYMENT IS GONE THEY ARE CALLING US ON 28/03/2011 AT 8.20 AM.

I ALSO WENT ICICI BANK NEAR BASANT CINEMA ON 28/03/2011 AND ICICI BANK NARIMAN POINT BRANCH ON 30/03/2011 THEY ALSO CANNOT REPLY WHAT HAD HAPPENED, THEY TOLD BETTER YOU GO AND MAKE A COMPLAINT.

I THINK SOME HAD MISUSED MY BROTHER’S ACCOUNT AND REOVED THE FUNDS FROM HIS ACCOUNT EVEN THE BANK PEOPLE CANNOT ANSWER TO US WHAT HAD HAPPENED.

SO, PLEASE SIR I REQUEST YOU TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION ON THE ABOVE MATTER AND PUNISH THE CULPRIT WHO HAD TAKEN ADVANTAGE AND MISUSED MY BROTHER’S ACCOUNT.

KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL AT THE EARLIEST AS POSSIBLE. AND RECOVER MY BROTHERS AMOUNT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

I did the below complaint in Bank of Baroda-

“In 1997 I bought shares of Bank of Baroda by PUBLIC OFFER.I also received its certificate.My Reg. Folio no. is -BBE170785 and CERTIFICATE no. is – 246159.Distinctive no. is 0220615701 to 0220615800.I was not informed about 2nd call money at all via any means and so I didn’t pay the 2nd call money as I was not informed about it.I contacted them many times to transfer my shares into my DEMAT account.I wrote them letters in the year 2002 to fullfill the need, but they didn’t reply.Again I tried to contact them in 2005 via letter and they sent a letter in return informing that my letter has been sent to the share unit of Bank of Baroda for further clarification on the issue.In 2006 I sent the original share certificate to transfer it into my DEMAT but they kept the original share certificate and told me that due to miscellaneous reasons all my “NEW DRF REQUIRED AND OLD SHARES ARE FORFEITED AND RETAINED BY THE COMPANY.” Also they neither returned my money nor transfered the shares into my DEMAT account.Now they should either return my money back along with the interest or transfer the shares into my DEMAT account.”

But they replied that-

“You may please note that Bank of Baroda has forfeited all the partly paid up equity shares in Jue 2003 on which call monry/allotment money was not paid.The Bank forfeited the Shares under the relevant Regulations as approved by Government of India by Gazette notification.The Bank observed the due process including the issuance of periodical Notices/Reminders/Forfeiture Notice including publishing a Notice in newspapaers also.Moreover, the relevant Offer Document dated 27th September, 1996 at page No.8 very clearly stated that ”Failure to pay the amount as aforesaid, shall render the allotment of equity shares liable to cancellation and amount paid liable to forfeiture.”

Moreover as per norms approved by Government of India Gazette notification “Forfeiture of share extinguishes all claims against Bank with regards to forfeited shares.”

I again replied that-

“Its not necessary that every individual read the newspaper in which the information mentioned by you was given.You should have sent me a call money reminder and if you have already done that than you must be having a record of when you sent that reminder.So please provide me those details from your record.Also send me copy of the Government rules as provided by you according to which shares can be forfeited without any reminder for call money.Due to this decision of the Bank I have to suffer from great economic and mental tension.If I didn’t want to keep those shares than I would have sold them at that time only when they were issued.If I would have informed about that call money than I would have paid it at that time only.I am ready to pay the call money along with interests for the shares now. Kindly look over the matter and return back my shares and resolve it as soon as possible.”

The reasons given by me in this letter are true as they didn’t inform me about any call money by any means.But they are not ready to accept any of the reasons stated by me.Kindly look into their records if they ever sent any reminder for call money and my shares should be freed by them and given back to me.

HDFC Bank ATM Withdrawal

On 20th of October 2010, I had requested HDFC atm to withdraw 25000, after request the ATM discharged 23 notes of Rs. 1000 and 11 notes of Rs. 100, so there was a shortfall of Rs. 900 in the transaction. I straight away called HDFC and lodged complaint with them, on 22nd October 2010 I received a mail from them saying

2 times Debit For 1 Transaction from SBI Debit Card During Mechandise Payment

Please note that, I have purchased a Fast track watch from a showroom “ONASHI TITAN, Satellite Area, Ahmedabad” for Rs 2195/-. I paid the amount through my SBI Debit card no-6220180911000112415. But the same amount(Rs 2195/-) has been debited from my account twice for the same transaction totalling to Rs 4390/-. I request u to please take the necessary steps and solve the issue as soon as possible.

Axis Bank is the worst bank I have come across.

If it had been one branch then I would have given the benefit of doubt to them but this has happened with the two of the branches where I have accounts.

One account I have opened in my Native place Hisar near Agrasen Chowk. They took almost 50 days to open my account and I was not able to transfer the money from one account to another when required.

Another account that I have in Sec-15, Gurgaon Branch. They are the slowest people I have ever met. I had to block the Debit Card as I was not finding it anywhere. After Blocking the card I somehow located in my home only so I called up the customer service to unblock the card. They suggested to submit an application in the home branch and asked for 24 hrs time period to get this issue resolved. I submitted the application on November 23, 2010 to unblock the debit card. Today is December 2 and still they are in the process of creating ticket and that too for the third time because whenever I approach them them, they say it has been already forwarded but need to raise the ticket again.

When I try to transfer the money online or make payments online, it asks for a Netsecure ID which is SMSed by the bank on the mobile no. They say this takes 1 min to get the message delivered to us and this is ensure the security of our account but unluckily the security is so much tight that I myself can not use / transfer the money anywhere as it takes more than 40 – 45 mins. to get the code delivered on my cell and by that time the session gets expired.

There are more such scenarios which Im not mentioning here because if I mention them all, I guess Axis Bank guys would commit suicide.

With such horrible services I would never dare to open another account in AXIS Bank. Nor I would recommend anyone to even get in touch with these hopeless people.

I would like to introduce myself as a resident of D-Block, Shyam Vihar, Phase-I, Goyla Dairy Road, Najafgarh, New Delhi-43. I have a saving account with you from beginning when this branch was established at Goyla and happily enjoyed with you. But, unfortunately this time I am facing problem that my ATM and Cheque book has been disabled without any information and could not be accessable.
Presently, I am staying out of station so,I send my younger brother who is residing at my house to ask about my account disability. But the employee of this branch did not give any answer and also not picking up the bank phone as well as individual phone and harassing the account holder.

So, I think this is harassment of account holder to do like this without any prior information.May be the account holder need urgent money which is with the particular account. Now, it is requested to concerned authority to resolve the problem or any suggestion.

With reference to the above I would like to inform You that the following mistakes have been observed in my S.B.Account.

1, On 27/08/2008 it has been shown that an amount of Rs. 9500/- (Rs.Nine Thousand Five Hundred Only) as a withdrawal (through ATM.Ref . page No. 2 of bank statement.) whereas I have not made any such withdrawal .

2, On same date in another entry it was that an amount of Rs.9500/- as deposit (reff.:page no.2 of bank statement attached.) whereas I have not made any such deposit.

3,On 29/10/2009 an amount of Rs.9500/- has been deducted my account (reff: page no.3 of bank statement attached) whereas I have not made any such withdrawal.

Sir, now I would like to request you kindly rectify the above mistakes so that I can operate the account smoothly.

My hdfc bank account number is 01091050016985. it is a salary a/c with minimum balance of zero. but due to job less and no salary credits hdfc has migrated salary a/c to normal savings a/c where i have to maintain min bal rs 10000. with out any notice they had done this and i come to know this when my balance of rd 500 in a/c is debit with following comments. i called to customer care where in they notified the reason that my salary a/c is no more a salary a.c. i must maintain min bal of rs 10000.

Please help to reverse the min balance charges applied due to non notified activities of bank.
